Solutions concerning the installation

In most of the walls, ceilings and floors of our buildings a multitude of live wires is installed. These and in addition all lines above ground, e.g. extension cables and multiple socket outlets, emit constantly low-frequency alternating electrical fields, although no current is running and all consumers are switched off.Those fields can be reduced with demand switches, the use of shielded electric installations or shielding materials.

Screened cables
They offer perfect protection from low-frequency radiation. The  electrical cable is great for a new installation. Walls will no longer „radiate“.
The electrical cable is also good for retrofitting. Cables are fitted in tubes or ducts, more often than one thinks and can therefore be partly replaced.
Special switch boxes perfect the system.
In addition, a normal installation in a house with approx. 500 m of cable cost approximately 1000 € more than conventional electrical cables.

Screened in-wall box

Metallically coated electrical installations with grounding connection are available as distribution and branch boxes for the  render and cavity wall setting up. Except for the necessary adaptor for the earthing it does not differ from the usual installation box.

When shielded outlets are installed the adaptor of the cavity or in-wall box is directly connected to the outlets earth wire.  The blank drain wires of the shielded cables, protected by insulating sleeves, run separately to the distribution and earth circuit connector box respectively.

Shielded light sources
Because of the physical proximity and the resulting high field intensity the use of shielded light sources is advisable. Well shielded lamps not only dispose of shielded cables but also of shielded light bulbs.

Shielded working environments
At contemporary workplaces a multitude of electronic devices with supply voltage, such as computers, computer monitors, printer, fax machines, telephones and many more are permanently in use and are energized even when switched off.
Particularly easy and effective is the use of shielded connecting cables, extension cables and multiple socket outlets.  Low-radiation workingplaces dipose beyond that of shielded lighting, appropriate monitors as well as of adapted telephone systems. Of course there should be no radio system such as W-LAN. We recommend to pay attention to the testing certificates, e. g.  TCO-norm, when selecting monitors.
